11526 Elemental Solutions O2 H2O Chiller 1/2 HP

I've had this chiller on 24/7 since last August (a bit over 6 months). It has been working great for my cold plunge, keeping it at 7C (42F). It takes overnight to bring the temperature down when I refill it, but that's not a problem - it keeps it cool thereafter. For what it's worth, the volume of water is about 400L (~110G), and the daytime air temperature can get upwards of 40C in the summer and stays around mild 10C in the winter. To complete my setup I have an aquarium canister filter with integrated pump (which takes some power too) and an active aqua 1000gph pump (constant on). With these variables (400L, chiller set to cool to 42F, in moderate ambient temp, pump constantly on) it ends up using around 100kwh per month.
