It has been working great for my cold plunge, keeping it at 7C (42F). It takes overnight to bring the temperature down when I refill it, but that's not a problem - it keeps it cool thereafter. For what it's worth, the volume of water is about 400L (~110G), and the daytime air temperature can get upwards of 40C in the summer and stays around mild 10C in the winter. To complete my setup I have an aquarium canister filter with integrated pump (which takes some power too) and an active aqua 1000gph pump (constant on).
